I realize it has been a while since I have posted anything to my blog. The fact is that on the morning of January 1, I got a tearful call from David, that his Mistress – and my very dear friend, Miss Suzanne - had passed away only hours before. I knew, that until I wrote this one post – I would not be able to write anything. It’s been 10 days, and the time has come.
Miss Suzanne was a tremendous influence in my life. It was through her, I learned that being a Mistress did not have to be about the biggest toy bag or the most outlandish leather costume. It was not about barking orders or strutting arrogance. Miss Suzanne was a Mistress of class and total femininity, and being in total control of herself. She was indeed a beautiful woman. And through knowing her, and being her friend – I grew to know myself.
Her avatar was her hats. Always a lady and always arriving in the most stylish hats. I have to chuckle, because maybe everyone did not know her personally – but if you were to go to an event – most everyone would know about the one Mistress who always wore hats. Personally – I think it was pure jealousy. lol.
I am only writing a small amount, but in my head are over a decade of memories racing – and I don’t write any of this really – for any of you… it was just something I needed to do, for myself.
She was diagnosed with a serious illness in the fall of 2008, and she requested that no one know. Three months later – my friend is gone.
David, you are not alone… just as Miss Suzanne swore a lifetime promise to us, we swear that lifelong promise to you. Never hesitate to the sincerety of that promise. She wouldn’t have.
Sleep in peace, Miss Suzanne. You will be missed.
